46″ Square Top Picnic Tables can be custom manufactured as ADA outdoor metal park tables. By omitting one of the seats, this 46″ table accommodates wheelchair-bound users. This is often preferable to buying larger tables that are specifically cataloged as ADA compliant. The table top height and width are within accessibility guidelines and the simplicity of the square top table better compliments the surrounding architecture of the typical urban environment. They are also smaller than Y-base rectangular tables, so smaller properties can service more users even in a limited space.

Expanded metal better supports a person’s body because the stretched, perforated surface gives slightly when a person sits down with his or her full weight on the seat. Unlike solid steel, expanded metal has a slight “give” to it that makes it more comfortable for people to sit on for long periods of time. Expanded metal also comes at a lower price point than solid steel and dries more quickly after rainfall due to the perforation in the table top and seats. Contiguously colored prior to application, Thermoplastic is a substitute for standard paint. It will retain its color for years and requires no touch-ups or touch up paint to retain its coloration.

The table base and frame are protected against corrosive elements by an electrostatically applied powder coat finish.
